Kodiak Timber Lodge: Voted one of 10 best ski chalets in B.C. (2018) by www.skimag.ca
Sun Peaks is an awesome mountain with varied terrains for skiers of all abilities. The BC interior weather provides lots of sunshine and fabulous powder. Sun Peaks Resort is one of the foremost ski resorts in Canada.
Sun Peaks’ immense 4,270 acres is spread across three skiable peaks, each with a personality all their own. Each mountain is easily accessible from the village, so ski all three peaks in the same day or stick to the mountain area that you love the most. Sun Peaks receives 6 meters of snow annually and is blessed with light, dry powder conditions that the Interior of BC is famous for.

Kodiak Timber Lodge is exactly as pictured, only better. Great house for a family to spread out - room for games, TV, meals, lounging. Lovely decor, beautiful linens, poofy duvets. The kitchen is really well equipped for cooks - everything we could ever need was at hand, and it's perfectly laid out for several people to work together or to gather around the island.
The location is great - literally 20 steps up to the cruiser run that takes you down to the village lifts. Easy to return to via blue or green runs from either Sundance or Sunburst chairs. We could come back for lunch, watch the skiers on either side of the valley, then pop back out for a few more runs. We walked down to the village (10 minutes easy walk along trail), and never needed a car.
Hot tub is big and well kept. Very much appreciated after a long day. Just a perfect place for a ski vacation. We'll try to be back soon!

Our first ski trip to Sun Peaks and Kodiak Lodge was the icing on the cake. Three couples (average age 70) found it a perfect place to ski together, prepare meals, soak in the glorious hot tub, and visit well into the evening. We particularly enjoyed how easy it was to ski in for a leisurely and private lunch together before we returned to the slopes. A+ for ambience, cleanliness, peace and quiet, great views. Bravo to you Bruno and Carol for offering such a great place to stay.
Owner's Response:
It was an absolute pleasure to have you as guests! Until the next time😄
